Our history
Our founder and principal broker, Jason Keyz, is a serial entrepreneur who has owned and operated numerous companies over the past 21 years. Throughout that time, Jason regularly sought the advice and guidance of real estate professionals, and while many of the agents and brokers he worked with were honest, he was continually let down by others for reasons ranging from poor communication to advice that served their commission more than his interests.
That frustration became the reason KEYZ Commercial exists. Jason founded the company to give investors, landlords, and business owners something he struggled to find himself: a real estate advisory and marketing team that is reliable, available, trustworthy, and genuinely knowledgeable. KEYZ Commercial prioritizes client outcomes over income goals, and Jason is known for advising clients against purchasing a building or accepting an offer when it isn’t in their best interest, even when doing so means passing on a commission.
That philosophy is reflected in the results: $57.2M in transaction volume and 282 clients served across Southern California, all built on the same principle the company was founded on, putting the client first.

Jason Keyz is a licensed California real estate broker and holds professional designations including LEED Accredited Professional, Certified Protection Professional, Certified Fire Protection Specialist, and Physical Security Professional. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, Orange County Association of Realtors, California Association of Business Brokers, and Southern California CCIM.
